Saturday, January 30th was a windy and cold day following a day of intermittent rain showers. Boy Scout Troop #89 from St. Louis Catholic Church, led by Paul Robalino, built 3 picnic tables and 5 sitting benches, delivered them to the park along with a cement mixer and plenty of digging tools. The boys got right to work – staking the locations, digging the holes, setting the footings, mixing and pouring concrete, and installing the 8 structures. The whole project was developed, planned and completed by Paul for his Eagle Scout project. He is to be commended for a successfully executed project that has jump started the park improvements projects.
