It’s My Park Day, presented Wheatsville Food Co-op, is an annual volunteer event held at parks citywide. Each project is led by a neighborhood volunteer who has committed to making their local park a better place. Projects range from simple clean-ups and painting park benches to ecological restoration and trail building.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are needed in every area of Austin. All volunteers receive a beautiful tee shirt and delicious snacks. Visit our It’s My Park Day page to find an event in your area.

Some event highlights:

  • Giant clean up at the brand new Walnut Creek Greenbelt!
  • Dog friendly projects!
  • Join the Zilker tree planting and get a swim in!
  • An incredible array of small neighborhood parks are participating!
  • And much, much more.
