The City of Austin’s Planning & Development Review Department (PDRD) will be offering their annual Development Application Information Sessions beginning Monday, July 23rd.  This is a series of informal instructional classes presented by employees in the Land Use Review Division of PDRD. Anyone who is interested in learning more about these requirements and processes is welcome to attend any or all of the classes.
All classes will be held in the Third Floor Training Room in One Texas Center at 505 Barton Springs Road, but the class times vary (see below).
Free parking is available in the Parking Garage, behind the building.
The first session will be held at Noon on Monday July 23rd, demonstrating how the public uses the City’s Development Information Search. Learn where to look for information about development including if a site plan or permit has been applied for, approved or expired. If you have heard about a development case near you, this is the first place to look for answers. This session will help those who are not familiar with the City’s permit viewer, and experienced users will find useful information as well.
The public is invited, however seating is limited. An RSVP is strongly requested, but not required.
To RSVP, or for more information about a class, or to receive email reminders for the August classes, contact Lynn Tozser at 512-974-2698 or [email protected] .
