Rundberg Trash Clean-up this Saturday

A Rundberg Trash Clean-Up will take place Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m.

Volunteers invited to join. Meet the group at Barrington Elementary School, 400 Cooper Drive, Austin. Please bring trash bags and gloves if you have them.

The clean-up is hosted by the Austin Police Department, in partnership with the North Austin Community and Restore Rundberg.

2 openings on Rundberg Revitalization Team

Want to serve in a leadership position with the Rundberg Revitalization Team? There are currently openings for:

  • Place 3, North Lamar/Georgian Acres Neighborhood Planning Area Representative
  • Place 7, Hispanic Community Representative

The Rundberg Revitalization Team acts in an advisory capacity for the Austin Police Department grant
staff, with Team meetings providing regular forums for community discussion. In addition, the Team will
guide Restore Rundberg revitalization efforts for the years to come.

The November meeting will focus on the Heritage Hills/Windsor Hills neighborhood plan. Bring your family, friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome. It does not matter if you rent or own, your opinion and insights are important to the success of this project. Let’s see what we can accomplish together.

Want to preserve affordable housing in Austin?

You are invited to participate in a listening session on strategies and tools to preserve affordable housing hosted by the Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Office.

This will be the first in a series of engagement opportunities as the 2013-14 Comprehensive Housing Market Study gets underway.
