Batteries, Oil, Paint, Antifreeze Neighborhood Collection Event
When:  Saturday, October 17 – 10 am to 2 pm
Where:  9500 Stonebridge Dr. (entrance off Rutland, across from Valero)
At the Quail Creek Clocktower
Only the following items will be accepted:

• Paint
• Household & Car Batteries
• Used Motor Oil
• Antifreeze

Tips on transporting B.O.P.A.

• Containers should be sealed and in original packing
• Pack leaking containers in a larger non-leaking container
• Place containers upright in a box or plastic bin and pack newspaper around the containers to prevent breakage
• Place material in your trunk where you will not breathe the fumes during transport

Other household hazardous waste and chemicals can be disposed at the City of Austin Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 2514 Business Center Dr.  Call 512-974-4343 for more information.
