School Campus Advisory Councils

You don’t need to be a parent to support our neighborhood schools!

Several schools in our area have openings on their Campus Advisory Councils (CACs) for “community member” representatives (i.e. people who DON’T have children in the schools). CACs meet once a month to provide input and advice to the individual school Principals on school programming, performance, staff development, budget, and more. It’s a great way to get in touch with all the great work going on in our neighborhood schools.

These are the schools looking for help:
Cook Elementary (meets after school hours 1st Thursday of the month)
Wooldridge Elementary (meets after school hours 2nd Monday of the month)
Burnet Middle School (meets at 5 pm online 2nd Wednesday of the month)

Contact Mark Grayson ([email protected]), who’s been the “community member” representative on the Navarro Early College High School CAC since 2017, with any questions and he’ll connect you with the appropriate Principal.
