New selections have been chosen for the next three meetings of the Little
Walnut Library Book Club. They are as follows:
May 6 – “I Am Malala” by Malala Yousafzai (the Pakistani girl who was shot
in the head by the Taliban for advocating for women’s education)
July 1 – “The Dinner” by Herman Koch (translation of Dutch suspense novel)
Sept. 2 – “Tamarack County” by William Kent Krueger (a Cork O’Connor mystery
about northern Minnesota, weaving Irish Catholic and Native American culture
and spirituality together in a gripping story)
The group meets on the first Tuesday of odd-numbered months at 6:30pm at the
library, 835 W. Rundberg.
