Thanks to all who participated in the BOPA collection last Saturday, September 20. A special thanks to Roberto Perez who helped unload the BOPA from the vehicles and to Hal Hughes for helping to haul the collection to the City’s Hazardous Waste Facility in south Austin. Twenty-seven families dropped off items during the four hours. We collected 305 gallon containers of paint, nine gallons of antifreeze, six gallons of oil and several hundred batteries.
