Cook School Beautification Project
The UT Project is scheduled to paint the portables on March 31st – weather permitting. The original date of February 24th was a rain out. The students pressure washed the portables on February 10th – a cold and rainy and windy day – see picture attached. So, we’re hoping that the weather permits the project to move along because there are big plans for April-May-June.
After the portables are painted with lively colors, the next step is to add critters from various habitats on each of them. Groups will adopt the individual portables to paint the habitats and critters. It should all brighten the school grounds for the kids and neighbors.
A meeting for reviewing the project and deciding the habitats and volunteer group leaders will take place at Cook Elementary on Monday, April 2 at 3:30pm if you’d like to join the fun!
