Hello North Austin Civic Association residents,
The North Austin Civic Association area, or portions of it, recently received the City’s green composting cart!
The City’s Austin Resource Recovery – which oversees the program – will be conducting a large group training event. We will be doing a pop-up to visit with people about composting and give away free kitchen compost collectors and compostable bags to anyone who wants them. Our compost team will be at the Cook School Park, 1505 Cripple Creek Drive, 9:30 am to 11 am, on Saturday, July 21st with summertime refreshments and kitchen compost collectors .
