Our next meeting is August 20th, 2020, 7 pm. Even though the YMCA is open, the NACA officers have decided we should continue to meet virtually on Zoom for now. Members will be provided with the Zoom conference link via e-mail.
This meeting’s guest will be Jackie Nirenberg from Capital Metro’s Community Involvement department. She’ll describe Capital Metro’s plans for a $7 billion bond proposal to fund infrastructure work such as light rail from the North Lamar Transit Center to Stassney Lane, with a tunnel passing under downtown Austin, and other improvements throughout the transit system.
