UP Art Studio is working with the City of Austin Transportation Department, to create “Mini Murals” installations that meet the guidelines of the City’s Artbox Program.

Thank you to all who participated in the Mini Murals survey circulated last month. The neighborhood chose the artist Bydee. The location of the Mini Mural is Rundberg Ln. at the Little Walnut Creek Library.

The next step of this program will be the in-person meeting for your community. Everyone who lives and works in the area is invited to come meet the artist and join this community conversation. The meeting for the Mini Mural in your area is on Sunday, February 17 from 4:30 – 5:30 PM at Austin Public Library – Little Walnut Creek Library, 835 W. Rundberg Ln., Austin, TX, 78758.

We hope you will come to the meeting, bring others, and share your valuable input! The stated goal for each piece of civic art is to reflect and honor the neighborhood’s people and unique character.
