The North Austin YMCA is hosting its annual International Earth Day Festival. In this festival the Y will focus on the cultural diversity that surrounds the North Austin community through Dragon Dancers, Belly Dancers, Ballet Folklorico, Rondalla Music, etc. Visitors are encouraged to bring their favorite dishes to take part in the “Around the World” pot luck.
The Festival is on Friday, May 17th at 6pm at the North Austin YMCA (1000 W. Rundberg Ln. ) and  is open to the public, free of charge.
Any Austin-based group that would like to take part in this event is invited to participate.  A guitar club could provide a couple of songs; a poetry club could recite some poems; a dance club could show visitors some new moves!  This is a great opportunity for North Austin to show its diversity and solidarity.
If you are interested in sharing your talents with the community on May 17, please contact:
