APD’s Home Away from Home – March 15, 10am-1pm, Gus Garcia Recreation Center
The Austin Police Department, Office of Community Liaison will be hosting
our 2nd Annual “Home Away From Home” event to welcome our newly arrived
immigrants/Austinites to our wonderful city.  The event is scheduled for
March 15, 2014 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Gus Garcia Recreation Center
(1201 E. Rundberg Ln. Austin, TX 78753).
This event is designed to specifically introduce Law Enforcement information
and other community services to our newly arrived.  However, anyone is
welcome to attend.
There will be free music, food, drinks and entertainment for everyone.
