This Thursday, June 12th, the Austin City Council will vote on creating a school zone on West Rundberg Lane to help ensure the safety of the children who will be walking or biking to the new Jaime Padron Elementary School. The designation of the school zone will decrease speed limits to 20 mph during peak school hours, and provide for a crossing guard and the necessary signage.
